Stand the bottom door panel on the floor in the garage doorway.
Assuming you re installing a new door you ll need to find the precise location on the door frame for your hinges.
Leave the nut on the end of the unscrewed bolt to protect it while tapping it out.
With a friend pick up the new door panel.
Check that the door jamb on the hinge side is plumb and shim as necessary.
Attach weather stripping to the bottom edge of garage door.
Temporarily screw the hinge jamb in place by driving two 8 3 inch drywall screws through it.
Screw cable brackets to the door to secure the weather stripping.
Once you re happy with the placement use a pencil to mark where the holes are to attach the hinge.
To install the new garage door hinges tap the hinge bolts through the bolt holes preferably from the outside.
Place hinge at the center of that area aligned with the right side of the garage.
Insert rollers into the brackets attached to the door.

Very easy to do.
Use impact driver to mount hinges to the bottom panel of garage door.
One hinge is located 7 inches from the top of the door frame and the other hinge is located 11 inches from the bottom of the door frame.
Once tapped in tighten the nut.
Locate the flat horizontal surface of your garage door panel.
Then you can take a hammer and tap the hinge bolt releasing the hinge.
Place the second panel on top of the first one.
Align a hinge in 1 of the corners and in the center of the panel then screw them in place.
Leaving 1 side bare makes fitting and installing the track easier so do this for every panel.
One about 2 inches above the top hinge and the other about 2 inches from the center hinge.
Can save you money by not having a service technician coming out.
Most doors require a minimum of two hinges.
