Integra Driver Door Wont Lock

1996 acura integra my 1996 acura integra driver door will not open.

To lock the doors insert the key into the lock on the driver s door and rotate the key counterclockwise until you hear the doors lock. Okay i have 96 integra gs r hatch and the power door lock on the drivers side only works when the door is closed. You can get around it by holding the door release lever open as if you were trying to get out of the car and then manually locking it. Its a honda thing.
